When I was about 6 years old I was sitting in a field drawing a cow that was near me. All the grown ups got all excited telling me it looked just like the cow. I've been hooked ever since!
Art making is the central part of my life. I look at art. I talk about art. I make art. I get cranky if I don't make art.
I am currently a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, and I am past president of the Women Painters of Washington. I belong to the National Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society and the East Side Association of Fine Arts. I strive to become a better painter and have challenged myself to make a painting a day.
